How Are Naturopathic Doctors Trained?

Naturopathic education is a bridge between the two worlds of traditional and modern medicine.

Naturopathic doctors complete their education at a nationally accredited 4-year naturopathic medical school with didactic and clinical hours.

Didactic hours focus on basic sciences (chemistry, biology, pathology, anatomy, physiology) as well as clinical studies (interpreting labs + imaging, diagnosis).

We are trained in areas of lifestyle medicine, nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathy, mind-body practices, as well as pharmaceuticals and minor surgery.

Each state has different registration and licensing for naturopathic doctors. This  means that naturopathic doctors have different scopes of practice depending on the state.

Do You Accept Insurance?

I do not bill insurance, but I can provide you with a superbill that shows the

breakdown of charges that you can submit to your insurance company.

What Forms Of Payment Do You Accept?

I accept all major credit cards and cash. I also accept HSA/FSA payments. This often covers the cost of the visit, supplements, and labs. Please check with your HSA/FSA specifically to ensure coverage.

What Is Your Cancellation Policy?

Cancelltions or missed appointments within the 24-hour window will result in

the full charge of the visit. These appointments are very difficult to fill last minute.

Exceptions are, of course, made in cases of emergency or illness.
